Vanessa K.'s Story

“Do it for your health and life. Even the self confidence is better without these toxic bags.”
Vanessa’s symptoms appeared within a year of her getting breast implants. Starting out at increased acne and hair loss, her symptoms quickly worsened to things like Thyroid dysfunction, hormone issues, mood swings and so much more. Breast implant illness slowly began to affect Vanessa’s ability to work and her personal relationships, but now, 9-weeks post explant, she already feels more energetic and can see many of her symptoms disappearing.
Tell us about your explant journey.
For a long time I did not know what is causing my several symptoms. I always thought I just have too much stress or its just the job I dont love to do or its the birth control pill. Doctors never found anything. After my misscarriage in an early state of the pregnancy I contacted a holistic counselor to help me balance my hormones. In the end of 2017 she mentioned that implants can cause trouble in the body. But to that time I think I wasn't really ready for this information, had not the money for an explant and on top my ex was against an explant. So I forgot about it. After some months I seperated from this boyfriend and found a new love. I felt a bit better but in 2019 my symptoms got worse. I just realised after seeing on my holistic counselor website that she now only treats patients who are willing to explant and a post on instagram about bii, that these toxic bags have to come out. It was kind of a shock and awakening from a nightmare. Then I quickly found a professional doctor who can make explants en bloc even if it didn't work en bloc for me in the end because the capsules were sticking to my rips, but all capsules and silicone are out now. I didn't have a rupture.
