Michelle A.'s Story

Michelle sought out breast augmentation as a way to hide her pacemaker, but soon after surgery those very implants began to wreak havoc on her body.

“I’ve been ill since I got them and had been to multiple doctors for multiple symptoms and have done bloodwork and test after test to no avail. When I’m more recently questioned ‘could it be the implants?‘ they laughed it off but in my heart I knew it was the probably the implants because of all the Bii stories I’ve researched and similarities I’ve seen.”

Tell us about your explant journey.

I decided to get breast implants a few years ago because I was feeling insecure about my pacemaker and wanted to hide it. Unbeknownst to me they were wreaking havoc on my body and the doctors and I didn’t know what was going on or that they were actually making me sick.

I’ve been ill since I got them and had been to multiple doctors for multiple symptoms and have done bloodwork and test after test to no avail. When I more recently questioned ‘could it be the implants?‘ they laughed it off but in my heart I knew it was the probably the implants because of all the Bii stories I’ve researched and similarities I’ve seen.

I had a myriad of symptoms that I kept blaming on other things. I gained 10lbs....must be because I’m getting older. My face started to get puffy at times....I blamed it on a possible new food allergy. My lips were corpse white.... must be because I’m getting old. (getting older was my fav thing to blame😆)

The symptoms that really bothered me were:

post nasal drip (15-20 Benadryl pills a day and that was the ONLY med that worked)

hair loss

night sweats

memory problems

excessive sweating and always hot (when I’m usz always freezing 🥶)

10lb weight gain of inflammation/bloat

white af lips

eye whites not clear

WAY too early POST menopause at 41😳

puffy face on and off

adult acne

food allergies

This summer I was doing my normal bike ride with my friend and we were discussing bii and I said I know I’m fine because I have no symptoms... and as soon as it left my mouth I realized WAIT! I have been on Benadryl for years nonstop! Could that be related?? So I started to look at all the various symptoms that I had no answer for and started putting it all together like a big puzzle. I was excited because I felt like I had my answer and just needed to explant to see if I was right in my assumption and the day I got them out I got my period and needed ZERO Benadryl. I was shookith and extremely happy to be free of those toxic bags forever!
