“I am doing amazing. I feel and look leaner. I have more energy. No more heart palpitations or pressure.”

Maria’s breast implants negatively affected her self-esteem, but it was not until around 15 years after she implanted that she began to experience breast implant illness symptoms.

Tell us about your explant journey.

I received 225cc saline implants placed under the muscle in 2003. I immediately regretted the decision. I didn't remove them completely until 2019 after experiencing symptoms such as fatigue, chest pressure, heart palpitations, etc.
