Jenn J.'s Story

Having suffered from BII for ten years, Jenn dealt with a long list of symptoms including brain fog, fatigue, hair loss, infertility and mood swings. After explanting, Jenn immediately felt many of her symptoms disappear, but he is still working to fully regain her health.

“Once you explant it will be another journey of clearing out your body and resetting it takes a bit of time.”

Tell us about your explant journey.

How did breast implants impact your life?

I feel like I lost 10 years of my life. Can’t explain it any better.

What was surgery like for you?

Surgery was a breeze for me. I instantly felt better when I woke up my neck pain and back pain was gone along with a level of my joint pain. I still have some work to do but feel much better.

How are you doing now, after explant?

I am 11 months out and feeling good. I still have a handful of things I need to fix in my body such as H pylori and gut cleaning.

What would you like women who are considering explant to know?

I think all women should do the research to find the right doctor that works for them and put themselves in the best position possible. Also to know that once you explant it will be another journey of clearing out your body and resetting it takes a bit of time.
